About Us

West Lothian Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) Self-help Group (WLMESH) was established in 1984 to support sufferers of the condition along with their families, friends and carers.

We currently have 3 monthly meetings and also organise various social events or outings throughout the year.  Some of our previous social activities have included canal boat trips, Christmas Dinner and Party nights.

The WLMESH Hub in Kirkton Campus is also used to host therapeutic services such as Bowen, Reiki and Hypnotherapy.  Check out our Events calendar for session details.

Management Committee

WLMESH couldnt function without the Management Committee who also act as the Trustees for our Charity.

The 2016/17 Management Committee
Chairperson Claire Thomson
Secretary Sandy Stewart
Treasurer Jackie Dods
Member Suzy Cairns
Member Sandy Cassie
Member Grace Potter

Our Management Committee is made up of both ME/CFS Sufferers and Non-sufferers.  This allows the Committee to continue functioning and moving forward whilst also having the input and views of those people who need the support of the Charity.

As stated in the Constitution everyone will stand down at our AGM in July 2017 to allow for the election of our 2017/18 Management Committee.  If anyone is interested in joining the Management Committee please contact us.
